Enter this free contest and win a publishing contract worth $30K.
Instructions
Address these six sections:
a. Introduction – Describe your book in 100 words or less.
b. Focus – Be specific: How does your book minister to women?
c. Syntax -- Include the sequence of steps involved in the organization of the book. Include the major sections and the chapters, or the sequencing of steps, and describe how the book progresses.
d. Support System – What supports (equipment, foundational skills, groups, money, etc.) are required to make this ministry work? Is it linked to a specific religion or denomination? If so, to whom?
e. Application & Effects -- Each ministry attempts to evoke some change in those served and influence their thinking, spiritual beliefs, feelings, social interactions, or behavioral choices in some way so that those changes can be transferred to their lives and the lives of those around them. How can readers use what your book teaches?
f. Author Bio – What is it about your life and spiritual path which sets you apart as the best person to write this specific book?

Scoring
Each of the six sections will be rated in a rubric as follows:
not complete (0)
off topic (1)
excessive grammar, spelling, and/or mechanics errors (2)
adequate (3)
good (4)
excellent (5)
for a possible total of 30 points.
Entries must score a minimum of 18 points to be considered for the prizes.
The scored rubric sheet will be available to the author if requested after Nov. 1, 2023.
Prizes
Prizes will be based on the Rubric Scores described above
First: Publishing Contracts for three books over the course of 5 years, Professional Editing, Book Covers, Illustrations, book trailers, and marketing of the published books with industry-standard royalties. ($30,000USD value)
Second: Publishing Contract for one book, Professional Editing, Book Cover, Illustrations, book trailer, and marketing of the published book with industry-standard royalties. ($10,000USD value)
Third: Publishing Contract for one book, Professional Editing, Book Cover, book trailer, and marketing of the published book with industry-standard royalties. ($7,000USD value)
Fourth Prize: Professional Editing of one manuscript. ($4,000USD value)
In the event of tied scores on the rubric, all who earn top scores will win the first prize, all who earn the second top scores will earn the second prize, all who earn the third top scores will earn the third prize, and all who earn the fourth highest scores will win the fourth prize.
